Our Maintenance Inspection Service

Regular, annual maintenance can extend the performance life of any roof, saving you unexpected and costly repairs down the road. Of course, a roof can’t last forever and will require repairs or replacement at some point. Our Maintenance Inspection Service will alert you to concerns so that you can factor in these costs over the lifetime of your roof and hopefully avoid large, unexpected repair or replacement costs. With our harsh climates, moisture is the key reason that some commercial roofing systems fail and require extensive repair or replacement.

2-ply SBS Membrane

A torch on roof, or a 2-ply SBS roof system, is one of the most popular roofing systems. Consisting of polyester or fiberglass reinforcing mat sandwiched between two layers of rubberized asphalt, two ply roof system are durable and relatively quick to install. However, proper installation by experienced roofing technicians is key as an improperly installed torch on roof can fail within the first few years. At Norwin Roofing we take measures to ensure that the quality of our 2-ply SBS roof systems stands up over time.

4-Ply Asphalt and Gravel

The 4-ply asphalt and gravel roof system consists of piles of felt embedded in asphalt and a flood coat with gravel at 400 lbs. per 100 sq. ft. These roofs are generally insulated from the roof deck up.

EPDM (Single Ply)

When time is a limitation within a roofing project, EPDM ( ethylene propylene diene terpolymer) single ply roofing systems offer a viable and effective roofing solution. Single-ply membranes come in various thicknesses and require different application knowledge and techniques. Norwin installers are trained in heat welding, rubber application (EPDM), and solvent application of one-ply roofing systems.
